Or how the office of president will regain the dignity, honor and respect it has lost.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be proud of our president again? I grew up during the Cold War and Liked Ike even as we practiced ‘Duck and Cover.’. We all cried when JFK was assassinated. Of course, every day started with the Pledge of Allegiance, something the kids these days don’t have a clue about.
When was the last time the current resident of the White House said anything that wasn’t politically motivated? I challenge you to find one public address that wasn’t politically inspired.
When was the last time president Vacation had good news for Americans? Let me modify that. When was the last time that president Golf had good news that was true, for Americans?
When was the last time in this administration that our victim-in-chief acted like a real leader? When has he ever acted like a real president? Has there ever been a president who started his administration by touring the world and apologizing for America? Didn’t it make you proud to be an American as he bowed to the Saudi king and promised he would back Islam rather than America?
And how about opening our borders.telling the Border Patrol to ‘stand down’ and encouraging ‘sanctuary cities’ where illegal aliens can find refuge after murder, rape or other atrocities have been committed?
Or bringing in hundreds of thousands of military age ‘refugees’ without verifying their backgrounds or intentions? The same muslims who have demonstrated their love for Americans by killing us? Let’s face the facts, folks. Our president is more concerned with destroying the sovereignty of America than he is of protecting Americans from foreign invasion.
Now, due to a tragic mass shooting in Orlando Florida, we have a chance to compare how the current president of our Republic stacks up against the two main contenders for his job come November. We’ll have three speeches from these three addressing the same subject, protecting Americans from terrorism, what they would do and how they would do it.
Consider these questions as you read the transcripts or watch the videos. Who sounded the most presidential? Who sounded like they really cared about America and Americans? Who was sincere? Who was just pandering to the audience? Who was trying to promote a political agenda other than addressing the tragedy? Who met the problem head on and who tip toed around it? Who was the most politically correct? Finally, which one made you proud to be an American?
